He started his career at a very young age as a digital artist for Byte ME Magazine. This is where he built his passion for design, media and technology. Followed by a work position as a designer at in 1997 while he was still a student of Architecture at Jordan University. Later in 2002 he progressed his path in information design, user experience, branding and innovation in a leading branding and design company in Jordan (Syntax Design).

While he was part of Syntax he co-founded the first video and photo sharing platform in the Arab world called back in 2005. At the same year he launched his personal blog which gained allot of popularity and was a major reason behind initiating Kharabeesh in 2008. Kharabeesh now is considered one of the fastest growing entertainment network based on Youtube (MCN) that serves Arab internet users around the world.

It started as a small storytelling house for the new Arab generation and it was aiming to place Arab entertainment on the WEB map. His hobby turned career has resulted in a large profile of productions recounting stories stemming out of his society to reflect its daily realties. In 2016 he got awarded by HH Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid as the Social Media Entreprenure of the year. Wael is also a 2014 Eisenhower fellow, a 2010 Endeavor entreprenure,  a TEDx speaker in addition to his appearance in many regional and global media and events.
