Amal is a design thinker, an innovation ambassador and a passionate professional in creating customer centric experiences, guiding start ups to innovation and customer focused offerings, providing creative solutions,
achieving mastery in service industry, manipulating the tools of marking to evoke customers emotions, on the other hand she is blessed to be surrounded by entrepreneurs in my daily job where routine has no place and everyday comes with a new challenge and a goal to be tackled with the highest creativity levels and the best team to work with.
Throughout her career Amal gained a diversified range of experience in management and marketing related roles particularly in education and service design consultancy. Currently, Amal is part of the Entrepreneurship Center in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in a number of roles including the New Ventures Acceleration and Corporate Innovation program. Prior to that she worked in the KAUST Seed Fund where she developed marketing and events, while also providing a range of services to startup clients.
In parallel to this she started her own business, which organized sports events and offered commercial consultancy to large organizations. During her masters degree research period in the University of Wollongong she managed to be exposed to large organizations and built marketing strategies to several entities such as Dubai government departments, the Kampinski hotel, Infiniti Cars and other service providers. She was also involved in a joint venture with another start up in Dubai focused on creating media and production services to other agencies including Starcom Dubai, Yahoo Dubai and many others.
She has also co authored two business articles focused on services marketing during the masters and published an article in a business specialized book. Amal sought knowledge and attended intensive courses such as the corporate innovation boot camp in the d. school Stanford, experience point
in Canada in the field of service design and change leadership and currently she part of the MIT reap program to develop Innovation driven ecosystem strategy for one of the regions in the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia, such experiences has enabled her to transfer that knowledge to different groups and institutions in the MENA region and some African countries as well.
